Joe Lieberman Presents His Economic Policy

By NHPR Staff on Tuesday, December 16, 2003.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Lieberman presented his economic policy at a high-tech firm in Manchester today.

Lieberman's support has been stuck in the single digits among Democratic voters in New Hampshire.

So the Connecticut Senator spent much of his time on the offensive.

He attacked the policies of President George Bush.

And he blasted the promises of Democratic frontrunner, former Vermont governor Howard Dean.

In order to give listeners a chance to hear the candidates in their own voices, NHPR has been presenting portions of their stump speeches.
