THE CANDIDATES SPOKE LAST WEEK AT A LACONIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FORUM.
FORUM ORGANIZERS GAVE EACH CANDIDATE 20 MINUTES TO TELL VOTERS WHY HE OR SHE SHOULD BE GOVERNOR.
TODAY WE HEAR FROM FORMER STATE SENATOR AND UNH TRUSTEE, BRUCE KEOUGH, A REPUBLICAN FROM DUBLIN.

Smith, Sununu Clash Bitterly

The Republican race for U-S Senate has grown more heated. In a bitter debate last night, incumbent Bob Smith and challenger John Sununu repeatedly accused each other of distortions and personal attacks. NHPR's Trish Anderton reports.

Eight Republicans Participate in CD 1 Election Forum

The eight Republicans running in the first Congressional District met last night in Leadership New Hampshire's "Election 2002 Forum" at Saint Anselm College in Manchester. And while the 8 candidates filled out the whole stage, their range on the issues was often limited to well known GOP themes. NHPR's David Darman has more.
