Teaching Woodworking to Young Girls

Strolling in the Statehouse

To Granite Staters the state capitol dome is as familiar a sight at the Old Man of the Mountain.

But what's inside may not be as well known.

In the ornate chambers and hallways where lawmakers and lobbyists work hang paintings and flags... some noteworth, some not.

But the capitol building is also home to a few oddities.

NHPR's Dan Gorenstein took a brief tour and brings you the first in an occasional series on the curiosities of the capitol.
