NH Supreme Court Broadens State Miranda RightsBy Mark Bevis on Monday, July 15, 2002.NH Supreme Court has thrown out the conviction of a man accused of sexually abusing his stepdaughter. the High Court ruled that under NH law the accused was not accorded his rights against self incrimination. Franklin Pierce Law Professor Buzz Scherr tells NHPR's Mark Bevis this ruling makes NH's Miranda Rights more protective of the accused than the Federal Version. listen: No audio currently available.
