Verizon Job Cuts Despite OK for Long Distance

Verizon announced last week that it will cut 900 jobs in New England. At virtually the same time, the company gained the approval of New Hampshire regulators to offer long distance service in the state.

Candidates for NH Governor Debate in Portsmouth

An Astronaut from New Hampshire

Lee Morin is a Manchester native and a UNH grad. Lee was a doctor in the Navy and served in the Gulf War. Then, in his mid-40s, he became an astronaut. He went on his first mission in April. He'll talk about his career path, his extensive training, and doing construction work in space.

The Red Sox Play Better When They're not at Home
