: In recent years, Portsmouth?s prolific Pontine Movement Theatre has created a series of original plays that focus on various historical aspects of New England life, from an adaptation of Sarah Orne Jewett?s The Country of the Pointed Firs, to an exploration of Shaker spiritualism, Journey To Heaven.
