State Dems sue GOP over RedistrictingBy Mark Bevis on Wednesday, April 10, 2002.House Democrats are taking their Republican counterparts to the State Supreme Court. Democrats are asking the court to order lawmakers to pass a new legislative redistricting plan by June 5th. That's the date candidates must begin filing if they plan to run in the fall elections. The Republican majority in both houses has passed redistricting plans. But Governor Jeanne Shaheen vetoed both of them.
