Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the Angel Band

The group came together eight years ago in during jam sessions at the Press Room in Portsmouth. Their lyrical approach to Irish music, especially that of Turlough O'Carolan, has brought them growing fame in their homeland and a couple of successful performing visits to the Emerald Isle. Expect to Pay More for Education in Near Future

Bad news for the state's budget.

According to a new report, taxpayers can expect a large increase in the cost of an adequate education.

The numbers were compiled by Doug Hall with the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies.

He explained the numbers to NHPR's Mark Bevis.

UNH Hockey at the Whittemore Center

The Men's Hockey Squad at the University of New Hampshire is currently ranked college Hockey's number one team in the country. The rise to the top did not happen overnight.
As NHPR's Sports Correspondent Jim Jeannotte reports the opening of its first indoor rink helped UNH turn an average college hockey program into a nationally recognized one.
