Breast Cancer

There’s been lots of confusion recently over the value of mammograms, self-exams and genetic testing. We’ll talk about detection, prevention and whether scientists are any closer to finding a cure. The Rewards of Small Farming

This may be the age of industrial agriculture on a large scale, but Jennifer Mayo says farming can still be a good way of life for an individual or family. Jennifer is coordinator of Beginner Farmers of New Hampshire- a group that brings farmers together to share information and connects them to expert help.

A Lot of Young Kids are Watching Violent Movies

Parents may want to keep better track of the movies their kids are watching.

A new Dartmouth College survey reports surprising results.

A high percentage of 10 to 14 year olds are watching some pretty violent movies.

Tod Heatherton co-authored the study.

He's a professor of psychological and brain sciences at Dartmouth.

He described the findings to NHPR's Mark Bevis.
