Gubernatorial Candidates Craig Benson and Mark Fernald spend a lot of their time on the stump talking taxes. For Benson, that talk typically concerns how new taxes of any kind will kill the so-called New Hampshire advantage; from Fernald it's about how a 4 percent income tax would be a more equitable way to fund state obligations. For the past couble of days, that debate has focused largely on the business enterprise tax.

Parties Quarrel over Child Protection

Accusations of child neglect are flying in the U-S Senate campaign. Today, Democrats and Republicans each criticized the other for allegedly failing to improve child protective services. NHPR?s Trish Anderton reports.
