The reason? The drought. Just as it affects living trees, it affects them as they go dormant. He discusses minor league baseball in Nashua and his new book, "Dem Little Bums: The Nashua Dodgers," which chronicles the experiences of the first two black baseball players to ever play on a non-Negro League team.
