General Wesley Clark Visits NH Vets

Top military commander General Wesley Clark visited New Hampshire yesterday.

He spoke to high school and college students, endorsed Democratic candidate Katrina Swett in the race for the second congressional district seat, and talked with veterans about the impending decision to strike Iraq.

Manchester Catholic Diocese Settles 16 Abuse Cases

The Catholic Diocese of Manchester has agreed to pay 950,000 dollars to settle sixteen sex abuse cases. NHPR's David Darman has more.

A Moment of Change in Workers? Rights

In December of 1828, the women who worked in the mills of Dover, New Hampshire went on strike. It was the first strike by a female workforce in American history.
