A PROPOSED SPORTS-OFFICE COMPLEX IN DOWNTOWN KEENE DREW CHEERS AND JEERS DURING A PUBLIC HEARING LAST NIGHT IN KEENE. HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ATTENDED THE HEARING, WHICH WAS DOMINATED BY THOSE OPPOSING ONE PART OF THE PROJECT: A STADIUM. CAROLYN MARTIN OF THE KEENE SENTINEL HAS THE STORY.

Police Scandal in Bartlett

The North Country Town of Bartlett is dealing with a scandal in the town government that at least indirectly involves the speaker of the NH House.
Former Police Chief Robert Snow is charged with embezzling town funds and extorting money from people he arrested.
House Speaker Gene Chandler is involved because he is the town selectman, and one critic has charged that he knew of Snow?s financial dealings and did nothing about it.
To bring us up to speed on the case we turn to Adam Hershan, the Editor of the Conway Daily Sun.
