A Musician Steeped in New Hampshire's Folk Tradition

Sarah Bauhan is the goddaughter of Newton Tolman, one of the pioneers of the country dance tradition in New Hampshire. As a child, she was given her first instument by another folk-dancing legend, Dudly Laufman. Lawmakers Ready For Pay Raise Vote

House lawmakers will vote on a constitutional amendment that could pave the way for their first raise since the late 1800s�..While most agree hiking salaries from a hundred to a thousand dollars a session is warranted, the measure seems unlikely to pass. NHPR's Josh Rogers has more.
