DNA Evidence

Scientists Seek Ways to Clean Up Bedrock

Scientists at the University of New Hampshire are experimenting with ways to clean up contaminated bedrock using micro-organisms. The research could be key to cleaning up chemicals such as chlorinated solvents that threaten the water supply. UNH?s Nancy Kinner told NHPR?s Trish Anderton part of the challenge is finding the pollutants.
