New Asbestos Rules for Nashua

State environmental workers will unveil proposed rules next week to control asbestos contamination in Hudson and Nashua. The rules will specify steps landowners must take to isolate or remove the substance, which can cause cancer and respiratory disease. David Russo of the Department of Environmental Services told NHPR's Trish Anderton asbestos contamination is widespread in Nashua and Hudson.
