171,000 Acres of NH Land: FOR SALEBy Doug MacPherson on Wednesday, July 11, 2001.A large portion of northern New Hampshire is up for sale. International paper today announced plans to sell more than 170-thousand acres of forest lands that comprise the northern tip of the state. The Manchester Civic Center Is No MoreBy Mark Bevis on Wednesday, July 11, 2001.It's not even opened yet, and its name has already changed. From now on, the Manchester Civic Center will be called the Verizon Wireless Arena. The company is paying millions for the privilege... and the advertising options.
