Susan Poulin and Gordon Carlisle are a husband and wife team, and the co-creators of “Spousal Deafness and Other Bones of Contention.” It’s a humorous look at marital life, and draws upon material from their own marriage. They’ve found that couples can relate to their production, and that sometimes a sense of humor and a little understanding are what every marriage needs. “Spousal Deafness an Other Bones of Contention” appears Friday, May 18th at the Concord City Auditorium.

End of an Era at Tuckerman Ravine

Every spring backcountry skiers, snowboarders and sledders hike up Mount Washington to enjoy the steep slopes of Tuckerman Ravine. Brad Ray has been helping and educating Tuckerman enthusiasts since 1959. Now he's retiring. Ray talked about his work with NHPR'S Trish Anderton during a busy Saturday at the ravine.

House Committee Considers Health Insurance Reform

The New Hampshire House Commerce Committee heard testimony today/yesterday on legislation to reform health insurance regulations in the state.

Supporters say the changes will revive a troubled insurance market, but critics say the legislation would chiefly benefit profit- hungry insurance companies.
