NH GOP's Budget/Education Funding Plan

Republican leadership in New Hampshire’s House of Representatives released its plan to solve the state’s school funding dilemma. It includes eliminating a business tax credit, adding a 1% tax on new motor vehicle registrations and reinstating a tax on the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant. It also reduces other state taxes. We’ll get specifics on the plan and get an update on the budget process. Laura’s guests are Democratic Leader Peter Burling and Michael Whalley a member of the Republican Leadership.

Have Justice, Will Travel

Ward survived her childhood, spent over 15 years as a long-distance trucker, and then went to law school. A Seacoast Family Adapts Sacred Story For Stage

The Quinn Family, Marty, Wendy and Caitlyn, are members of the Baha'i Faith. They've taken one of the sacred books of their faith, "The Seven Valleys," and turned it into a stage production of the same name. They are performing "The Seven Valleys" on April 13 and 14 at the McDonough Street Studio Theatre in Portsmouth; tickets are available at Equinox World Music on Fleet Street in Portsmouth.
