A Science Fiction Writer Travels From NASA to NH

Jeanne Cavalos has been a NASA astrophysicist, a book publisher, and now an author of science fiction. She's written several novels set in the universe of the Babylon 5 television series. She published non-fiction books explaining the science behind Star Wars and The X-Files. She also organized "Odyssey" a summer writing workshop in Manchester for aspiring science fiction writers.

The Bridges of Sullivan County

The town of Newport needs a new bridge. The state is willing to pay for it, but some town residents want to spend a little bit more to build a covered wooden bridge. Supporters say the bridge they want to build would last longer than a steel bridge.
