NH Business Community's Reaction to a Sales Tax

As part of her "EXCEL NH" plan, Governor Shaheen
proposes a 2.5% sales tax to fund public education. The tax has received mixed reviews from the state's business community--pitting retailers against other business leaders. Laura talks with Nancy Kyle, President of the Retail Merchants Association of NH (www.rmanh.org),

Learning to Fall with Phil Simmons

Seven years ago, Phil Simmons was a successful young professor with a new family. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease and given only a couple years to live. He's out lived his doctor's prognosis and has since written a book titled Learning to Fall that chronicles his struggles both physical and spiritual.
