Holiday Donors Come Through

It?s being called the Miracle on Pleasant Street. Today Operation Santa Claus announced it has found sponsors to buy gifts for more than 3000 children around the state. The State Employees union, which runs the program, says a surge of support at the end of last week helped it cover 600 children who otherwise might have gone without. Communications Director John Corrigan told NHPR's Trish Anderton before the spike in donations, things looked bleak.

And 'IT' is...

New Hampshire inventor Dean Kamen revealed 'IT,' a new device some said would rival the Internet in importance. After months of speculation, Kamen joined Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson on 'Good Morning America' to unveil his most recent invention. NHPR's Dan Gorenstein has more.
