Cousumer Advocate Accuses Verizon of Profiteering

The office of the consumer advocate believes Verizon New Hampshire Inc. gouged state residential ratepayers to the tune of more that 13 million dollars in 2000, and is demanding state regulators investigate. Verizon, however, says state records prove they actually undercharge customers.

New Measure Would Review All Judges Every 7 Years

Several state legislative leaders are introducing legislation that would require judges be reviewed every 7 years. The measure has passed its first legislative obstacle, the House Rules Committee, and is ready to be taken up by the Judiciary Committee. NHPR�s David Darman has more.
