A Musician Living in Two Worlds

Howard Lyons wanted to be a rock star, but then he re-discovered his Native American roots. Now, his music reflects his heritage and he wants to put a positive face on Native society. He also has a recording studio in New Hampshire's North Country where he hopes to record Native musicians and preserve the culture and history. He's just released a new CD called "Hopes and Dreams". PSNH Deal With Wood Fired Plants Worries Loggers

State regulators have approved a deal that allows Public Service of New Hampshire to reduce its obligations to buy high priced power. But the deal worries many of the state?s forest professionals, who claim it will squeeze already anemic profits, thinned out by the recent closing of American Tissue mills in Berlin and Gorham.
