Logging and Farming or Luxury Homes

The town of Landaff, pop. 350, is facing a difficult choice. A developer would like to build a private airport and luxury homes in the quiet logging and farming community north-west of the notches. The project would increase property tax revenues, but would also increase the town's expenses.

You may never have to scrape a windhsield again. Dartmouth Professor Victor Petrenko's research in Low Temperature Biology has led to the discovery of a way to keep ice from "sticking" to surfaces.
